Summer School Dates
Dates for the 20th Adlerian Summer School 2011
SUNDAY 7 AUGUST - SATURDAY 13 AUGUST
Please arrive between 4.00pm and 6.30pm
and you are free to depart after breakfast Saturday 13 August.
Summer School is based on the Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler and will be of interest to anyone wishing to learn more about this approach or develop their existing skills. No prior knowledge is necessary.
Full attendance offers up to 40 hours towards continuing professional development, which is now a requirement for BACP and other accrediting bodies.
Most workshops are of an experiential nature, which is a valuable tool in counselling, as we tend to learn more through experience than through what we are told. Participants usually find that a therapeutic process unfolds overlapping throughout the different workshops. The Tutors and members of the Organising Team are always on hand to offer support if required.
Community and contribution are encouraged so that a sense of safe space is generated to enable exploration and creativity.
